The 6 BACK EXERCISES I currently use

Here are the 6 back exercises that I currently use in order to grow a thick and wide back. On my first day I start with seated rows, pulling at an upward angle with lots of scapular movement, mainly to target the traps and rhomboids. Then I move onto a standard lat pulldown with just a little bit of tilt for some mid back and lats. And finally finish off with a single arm row, pulling directly towards the hip to strictly bias the lats. On the next day, I start with a t-bar row, driving my elbows as far back as possible to bias the mid back and traps. Then I do some bench supported single arm pulldowns to work more of the lats. And finally finish off with some pull ups to target pretty much a bit of everything. I do 5 sets per workout, 10 sets per week, and then I chug a big ol pumpkin spice protein shake from myprotein that i bought for 40% off with code “MAXE” because I am a winner and winners drink myprotein.

About Me: I started lifting at 17 years old in 2019, the summer before I entered my freshman year of college. I was a mere 120 pounds at 5’8, and my only goal was to gain weight. Since then I’ve bulked 5 times, reaching my heaviest at 206 pounds, and cut 4 times to a lowest of around 10% bodyfat. In 2025 I plan to compete in my first natural bodubuilding show.
